Published a new Learn article defining intrinsic capacity from WHO’s healthy-ageing framework. It covers the physical and mental domains, WHO’s ICOPE approach, variation in research measures, and the distinction between functional capacity and biological-age biomarkers.

Readers needed a primary-source-led explanation of a healthy-ageing concept that is increasingly discussed alongside biomarkers but does not have one universal measurement method.
