Why this exists
The biological age testing market is growing rapidly. Consumers can now measure their epigenetic age, glycomic age, phenotypic age, and more — often for a few hundred dollars. But the space is confusing: vendor claims are aggressive, independent validation varies wildly, and there is no single trusted resource that helps you make sense of it all.
Intrinsic Age fills that gap. We organize information around clock types, mechanisms, and scientific principles — not around commercial providers. We explain what each test measures, how mature the science is, and who it is best suited for, so you can make an informed choice.
Our long-term goal is to become the comparison platform for biological age testing — a single, trustworthy place where you can evaluate every major test side by side and find the right one for your needs.

Who is behind Intrinsic Age
Illés Müller
Founder and Editor-in-Chief
Illés Müller is a medical technology and diagnostics executive with more than 20 years of experience building products where science, regulation and business meet.
From 2023 to 2026 he was Chief Product & Technology Officer of Medipredict, a Budapest longevity clinic and health-tech company. He led a 20-person organization spanning software, bioinformatics, medicine and life sciences, rebuilt the product portfolio around integrated multi-omics (metabolomics, genomics and microbiome), and brought AI-supported analytics into clinical decision support.
Earlier, he founded Mediso USA in Boston in 2014, introduced the Mediso brand in North America and grew it to $10.5M in annual revenue, making it the company's second-largest region, with customers including the NIH, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Johns Hopkins, Merck and AbbVie. He also managed core lab diagnostics at Roche, led a 25-person in-vitro diagnostics R&D team at 77 Elektronika, and ran in-vivo imaging R&D programs (PET, SPECT, CT), including NanoSPECT/CT, which received the 2006 Hungarian Innovation Grand Prize.
Illés holds an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and an Executive MBA from Central European University, and earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2022. He is a founding partner of the strategy firm InvioLab.
