Updated intervention ratings and human-trial evidence

Article updatedStandard
Effective 12 October 2026Published 17 October 2026

Updated intervention ratings alongside the evidence summaries, sources and study context. Sleep Optimization, Chronic Stress Reduction, Metformin and Rapamycin / mTOR Inhibitors are rated Emerging for their stated aging-related endpoints. Each rating states the outcome it covers. The rapamycin section presents the primary RAPA-EX analysis before its sensitivity analyses and separates animal lifespan findings from human aging benefit. Related methodology and introductory wording were aligned. The existing RAPA-EX log entry carries the detailed trial correction and preserves its publication history.

Evidence for mobility, disease outcomes, biomarker changes and animal lifespan should not be presented as interchangeable evidence of slowed human aging.

Readers can see what each rating covers and where clinical benefit remains unproven. Clock movement is not presented as added lifespan, and no treatment or dosing recommendation is established. This records the evidence and rating updates already released on 12 October; it makes no additional rating change.
