  • Good for beginners
  • Fast results

GlycanAge

GlycanAge (Single Test)

Emerging

“An age estimate from IgG glycans, calculated with the company's own formula. In research by the test's developers, IgG glycan ages tracked calendar age and were linked to markers of metabolic health and inflammation; other laboratories have found the same age-related glycan shift.”

Best For

  • Inflammation focus
  • Immune aging
  • Longitudinal tracking

Limitations

  • Cannot diagnose disease or predict a specific disease or lifespan.
  • It is interpreted as reflecting immune-related aging, not overall biological age.
  • Glycan age can shift with hormonal changes, and in the sources we reviewed no threshold for a meaningful change between two tests is published.

Muhdo Health

DNA + Epigenetic Kit + AI Health Coach

Emerging

“A saliva biological age (labelled MethylPace, an age estimate rather than a pace measure), plus hearing, memory and eyesight 'ages' and inflammation and immune scores without published validation, plus DNA-based reports, with app coaching.”

Best For

  • Non-invasive
  • Comprehensive report
  • International availability

Limitations

  • First-time buyers need the DNA + Epigenetic bundle.
  • The $399/£250 epigenetic kit is for re-tests only.
  • Uses only 10 CpG sites for biological age.

Best For

  • Immune aging
  • Inflammation focus
  • Longitudinal tracking

Limitations

  • Sold at early-access pricing that may change.
  • Countries served are not stated on the vendor site.
  • It has not been shown to predict an individual's risk of a specific disease or of death.

myDNAge

Blood Biological Age Test

Emerging

“An epigenetic age estimate (DNAge) from the company's own predictor built on Horvath clock sites, with percentiles. The 2021 sample report also lists a methylation-based metabolic score and APOE and MTHFR genotypes.”

Best For

  • Research-grade

Limitations

  • Built to estimate calendar age, not health outcomes.

Best For

  • Gut health
  • Microbiome-based
  • Inflammation focus

Limitations

  • Microbiome readings can shift with diet, antibiotics and other medicines.
