Corrected TruAge and GrimAge evidence wording and clarified algorithm versions

Corrected source-scope wording in the TruAge and GrimAge evidence summaries and added a vendor-attributed algorithm-version clarification.

The TruDiagnostic TruAge summary now says access to some OMICmAge data is restricted by participant consent and may also be limited for commercial reasons, rather than giving only the commercial reason. It also records TruDiagnostic’s sample-report statement that SYMPHONYAge was re-trained in November 2025 and earlier samples were reprocessed in December 2025. The page says we found no published test of the re-trained version and could not confirm that it matches the published method; it does not claim better or worse performance.

The Clock Foundation GrimAge summary replaces an unqualified description of similar results in a small study of children with the narrower finding: no statistically significant average GrimAge2 difference between venous dried spots and white-cell samples. It explicitly says this does not establish individual agreement or equivalence of a home kit. Source-check dates and review notes were brought into line with these edits.

The previous wording omitted a stated reason for data restrictions and overstated what a group-average sample comparison establishes. The retail algorithm version also needed an explicit qualification.

The changes narrow interpretation without changing evidence tiers. TruAge’s Promising rating still concerns its DunedinPACE Pace of Aging result; the GrimAge kit’s Promising rating concerns mortality-related risk. Neither correction validates every reported output or a home kit’s own results.
